PROCEDURE NUMBER: 032100

FACILITY PROCEDURE

Don Turner, Chief Rangemaster

PROCEDURE FOR:  USE OF ARCHERY RANGES FOR MATCHES

1. During set-up of 3-D courses, the user group will close the entrances to all the walking courses that will be affected by the 3-D shoot. The courses will remain closed until the completion of the 3-D match, at which time, the user group will re-open the courses.

2. During the set-up and match day of all archery events using the walking courses, two walking courses must remain open to public shooting (i.e. upper animal, lower field courses). Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis, however, the match director must receive prior approval from the Chief Rangemaster.

3. Upon completion of the scheduled match, all shooters that choose to remain on the facility and shoot at the archery range, must check-in at the Main Range and pay the daily shooting fee prior to returning to shoot.

4. During scheduled matches, the match director must monitor the parking lot to ensure unrestricted Emergency Vehicle access to the archery building. Absolutely no parking is allowed along the roadway. If a parking problem exists, notify the Rangemaster immediately so that alternative parking arrangements can be made.
