PROCEDURE FOR:  USE OF AGFD/BASF VEHICLES

The stake bed truck is available for BASF User Groups to assist in event set-ups and take-downs on BASF property only. It may not be reserved for the whole event. In order to drive this vehicle, the operator must be a current BASF Volunteer, and receive operational instruction from the Maintenance Specialist. The vehicle may not be driven off of BASF property.

The Facility also has several John Deere "gators," tractors, and pick-up trucks. These are not available for User Group use.

Facility Volunteers who find it necessary to use a "gator" for the transport of materials may check one out from the Main Range Office. In order to operate these vehicles, the volunteer must view the "safety with gators" video tape and sign the training sheet. 

The use of other equipment is restricted to official use only and only upon approval of the Rangemaster.
