PROCEDURE FOR: APPROVAL OF PERMANENT PROJECTS

All permanent projects proposed for the Ben Avery Shooting Facility must follow the following steps for approval. A permanent project is any modification to the facility that remains in place after an event.

1 Determine scope, size, cost, location of project, and requested date of completion.
2 Prepare written justification for need.
3 Prepare implementation schedule, including whom is going to complete the project.
4 Document funding sources and support, ie. Identify who is going to pay for the project.
5 Prepare draft plan, and complete BASF "WORK ORDER REQUEST" form.
6 Submit proposal and completed form (completed steps 1-5) to Chief Rangemaster.
7 Proposal will be reviewed by Chief Rangemaster. 
8 Proposal will be submitted by Chief Rangemaster to internal AZ Game and Fish Habitat Branch and Development Branch for approval as necessary.
9 Environmental Assessment completed by project proponent and BASF if necessary. 
10 Project authorized by Chief Rangemaster.
